Manufacturing
Avcom has the capability to assemble through-hole, surface mount and
mixed technology boards (including BGAs) and specialize in quick
turn and prototype jobs. For large volume jobs Avcom's Fuji Line
makes it possible to run 14,000+ components per hour.
Standard assembly is to IPC A-610 Rev
E Class II standards, and complies with
Class III requirements when requested. Avcom's experienced
inspectors use a variety of microscopic inspection equipment to back
our thorough process control and job documentation practices.
Avcom employs SMT Tools BGA-100 Optical Inspection system for BGA
components and can rework and repair standard surface mount
components.
Avcom has the experience, flexibility and resources to assist your
process of prototype to full-scale production and is capable of
working from your supplied parts kits or providing a full turn-key
assembly, including functional or in-circuit testing. Avcom can also
maintain your inventories using our MRP tracking and reporting
system.
Conformal Coating
Avcom SMT, Inc. can apply Cytec CE-1170, an acrylic
coating, hand-sprayed onto boards in our professional spray booth.
This method is ideal for short runs of boards where 1-3 mils of
coating meets requirements and have few parts that require masking.
Quality Control
It is the goal of this Company to meet and exceed the
expectations of our customers. This can only be achieved through
leadership and teamwork within the Company structure. The Management
at Avcom SMT, Inc. is committed to a quality management system that
is current and maintained. To achieve this, management will ensure
that this philosophy is understood by every employee through
training and open communication.
All work is done under the guidelines of IPC/ANSI standards and our
assembly work is guaranteed. Any corrections that have to be made
will be completed upon notification and documentation will be
implemented to correct the process. Our internal Online
Documentation System (ODS) keeps up-to-date documentation on all
projects.
Avcom adheres to the IPC 610E guidelines
to inspect all assemblies. We use visual inspection, magnifier
lamps, Mantis and microscope equipment to complete final quality
control inspections. If testing is needed, Avcom can provide
functional testing.
